Through the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, I am hosting seminars to educate homebuyers how to purchase and maintain a home. The Commission-sponsored homebuyer education seminars are the first step in purchasing a home. They are free and open to the public, include information about the Commission’s first mortgage programs, down-payment assistance, and other loan programs; and are accepted by all affordable housing loan programs as meeting or exceeding educational requirements. To learn more on the program, see the Commission’s website at http://wshfc.org/buyers/education.htm.
The classes will be held at my office at FirstPoint Real Estate at 12020 Meridian East, Suite A, Puyallup, WA 98373. I will be co-teaching the class with Kenton Becker of Land Home Financial Services.
To obtain the Commission sponsored certificate, you must obtain 5 hours of class time, which we are splitting up over 2 sessions. Sessions are scheduled as follows:
We require attendees to pre-register for the class by calling me at 253-377-9367 or email me at janet@firstpointre.com. Please share with your family and friends who may be first-time homebuyers looking to get professionally educated on the home buying and financing process!
