On Sunday, September 14th at 1pm, the Washington State Fair will be hosting a Teen Hoot in the Concert Venue.  What is a Teen Hoot you say?

Teen Hoot started in early February 2011 at Westwood studios in Nashville, Tennessee. The goal was to gather several talented teen artists that were trying to find their way in the music and entertainment business and bring them together for one night, to perform for industry professionals. While this first show was by invite only, the producers had the brilliant idea to stream the show live over the web and had a graffiti style backdrop commissioned that would give Teen Hoot its own distinctive look and style from the very first show. After receiving an overwhelming online response from the fans of theses teen artists, the producers instantly knew he had to find a venue and make it a public event.

Seven shows and 18 months later, Teen Hoot has become an online social media phenomenon. Teen Hoot is responsible for launching the careers of artists such as recent VMA winner Austin Mahone, Megan & Liz, Tiffany Alvord, Madilyn Bailey, Tion Phipps and Dylan Hyde. These Teen Hoot artists have a massive social media following and are responsible for over three-quarters of a billion YouTube views and counting.

Teen Hoot is viewed in 173 countries around the world including China, and in its most recent competition received 1.3 million votes in 14 days. This un-paralleled international growth has led Teen Hoot to create its first international show in London England that sold out more than two months in advance.
